Adult Swim has posted a brief teaser video for the “My Adventures With Superman” animated series.
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the DC animated series will debut later this year during Adult Swim’s late-night primetime hours with encores on Toonami and on the streamer.
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, “My Adventures with Superman” introduces us to twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet. Promising a mix of action, comedy and romance, the new series is expected to premiere some time in 2023.
Described as a serialized coming-of-age story, “My Adventures with Superman” will follow Clark as he builds his secret Superman identity and embraces his role as the hero of Metropolis—and perhaps the world. Lois, now growing into a star investigative journalist, takes aspiring photographer Jimmy Olsen under her wing. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love, sharing adventures, taking down bad guys, stumbling over secrets and discovering what it means to be Superman and Lois Lane.
Actors Jack Quaid (“The Boys”) and Alice Lee (“Zoe’s Extraordinary Playlist”) will lead the “My Adventures with Superman” voice cast as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, respectively. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation with Register (“Teen Titans Go!”) serving as executive producer. Jake Wyatt (“Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus”) and Brendan Clogher (“Voltron: Legendary Defender”) are on board as co-executive producers and Josie Campbell (“She-Ra and the Princesses of Power”) as co-producer.
The new animated series has already received an order for two season.

Looks good. I’m definitely looking forward to this. Superman hasn’t had a solo-animated series since the 90s. I’m so glad this is coming out. Furthermore, I’m glad we get 2 kinds of Superman-content this year; those being “Superman and Lois: Season 3” and this animated series “My Adventures With Superman.”
Yeah, I can’t wait to find out when it premieres. So far I’ve been watching my hero academia on Toonami. Having a Superman animated series now on that Network automatically tops that series. 😀
I need to check out “My Hero Academia” at some point. A few years ago, I was an English teacher in Japan. A lot of students told me a lot of good things about it, and so I always intended to watch it at some point but never got around to doing it. But I’ll check it out sometime soon. I’m glad that “My Adventures with Superman” will be a nice addition to that Network.
I’m going to watch this, if I can get the station it is on, or it is online, but not crazy about animation style. And it’s a generic looking for the faces, I watched last Spider-Man Animated series from 2017- 2020, and this is almost, if not the same animation style from Spider-Man. And Superman’s face almost looks exactly like the same as Harry Osborn’s from the Spider-Man series. Almost like they took his face and put on Superman’s body.
