“My Adventures With Superman” Season 3 Update — Jack Quaid Confirms Active Recording

In an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com, Jack Quaid — the voice of Superman in the beloved animated series “My Adventures With Superman” — confirmed that production on Season 3 is actively underway, revealing that he has already returned to the recording booth for additional dialog and ADR.

The update came during a conversation with Quaid about the upcoming final season of Amazon Prime’s “The Boys”, where he plays the very different kind of superhero, Hughie Campbell. When asked about the fate of the Adult Swim series, Quaid was candid and enthusiastic: “I don’t know the exact date for when it comes back. I know that it is coming along. I’ve gone back and done more recording and more ADR. It is on the way, I promise you. Guys! It’s on the way, and it’s happening. I’m really excited for this season too. I think it’s delightful.”

Quaid also took a moment to reflect on what makes playing both roles so rewarding. “What I love about being in The Boys and this show is that it’s both sides of the superhero coin. The Boys is like the gritty, dark, super-violent side, and then Superman — he just wants to save a puppy.”

As for what Season 3 will bring, the creative team has already been dropping hints. At last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, they teased the arrival of Conner Kent — aka Superboy — sporting his iconic 90s look. He’ll be joined by the Cyborg Superman as a new villain, alongside returning fan favorites Lex Luthor and Deathstroke. Many fans are speculating the season could adapt the legendary “Death of Superman” storyline, a theory the presence of Cyborg Superman does little to dispel.

No release date has been confirmed, but if Quaid’s enthusiasm is anything to go by, the wait will be worth it.
