On Thursday, June 28 I was invited to attend a VIP launch of the “Justice League: A Call for Heroes” experience at Madame Tussauds Sydney.
Ahead of the launch party for the “Justice League: A Call for Heroes” experience I sat down for an exclusive video chat with Australian comedian and TV host Rove McManus who, as a big Superman fan himself, would be the host for the event. We then headed down to the Madame Tussauds attraction to enter the “Justice League: A Call for Heroes” experience, where I was able to grab some great photos and video, interacting with the wax figures of Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck) and The Flash (Ezra Miller).
As part of the promotion for the opening of the experience, Madame Tussauds Sydney put the challenge to find the country’s biggest Superman or Batman fan? The competition, open to superheroes of all ages, called for Australians with a passion for superhuman action to put their case forward in the form of a video or a series of photos, accompanied with a written response to the question on everybody’s lips: ‘What makes you Australia’s biggest Superman/Batman fan?’ The winner of the Superman segment (and no, I didn’t enter) was Iby Shalabi, who I met at the event.
