Movie and Television Realities Meet in “Crisis on Infinite Earths” Crossover

Last night’s 2-part finale to The CW’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover saw a cameo appearance that many fans did not see coming.

It seems the DC Universe Extended (movie) Universe is also part of the Multiverse, with Ezra Miller’s version of The Flash crossing paths with Grant Gustin’s character.

Man, oh man, what a coup by Warners. And even Grant himself posted some pictures of he and Ezra on social media. By the way, yesterday was his 30th birthday…but Grant was the one giving out quite the gift.

Happy Birthday Grant Gustin!!! 😀

Because of last night’s Flash meets Flash meet, I’m going to have to rearrange my whole Superman movie and tv series collection.
Ha ha ha! Lol!

I’m not a fan o Ezra’s Flash but even I have to admit that this was huge.

Wait!!! The CW Flash should know that a different person as a different Flash is possible! He has gone through this like a bunch of other times throughout the past seasons! John Wesley Shipp’s Flash for example! Why was he surprised by Ezra’s Flash??? Was it because he met him in the speedforce instead of the multiverse?

I think he was surprised that anything other than the paragons survived since they were the only ones left. I guess meeting in the Speed Force transcends all concept of time meaning that Ezra’s Flash could have been in there before the multiverse went kaput.

Hahahaha. That was awesome in the truest form. I did not…not even in a million years…see it coming.

Clever of them. With reports that the Flash movie finally starting to get back on track, this was a good move.

I felt the same but I will say I think he was probably more likable in this cameo than in any of his previous appearances, accepting that this is a particularly goof-ball version of Barry Allen even by the standard of throwing in some animated Wally West. His suit is awful though.

While I didn’t necessarily see it coming when it happened I was not surprised. It was just a matter of time before they officially merged the film and television franchises. I do wish they would have used a better Leaguer or the entire League itself to make that appearance seeing that I can not Ezra Miller as the Flash. He just doesn’t fit the part. He acts too immature and clueless plus he’s just weird as an actor. But I guess seeing his connection to the speed force he would be the logical one to appear and bridge the two… Read more »

There is nothing wrong with Miller’s Flash, he falls perfectly in line with the animated version and I think he was the best part of Justice League and Flash is not my favorite hero, like everyone else I was blown away by the crossover

The Animated Version that started with STAS was Wally West, Not Barry. Ezra makes a much better Wally imo.

Agreed that he’s more Wally than Barry, but I did still enjoy his portrayal. I believe it was intended to be less juvenile before whedon got his cheesy hands on him.

Yeah, you’re probably right about that regarding Whedon. But it also seems to really change his origin story as he obviously could not get his powers while working as a forensic scientist for the police in the movie universe. Not that I’m married to only that version.

Maybe he doesn’t need to be a forensic scientist for the police, but how about a forensic student working in a school lab and was caught up in the same situation?

I was thinking. Whether if people like seeing Ezra’s Flash in this crossover or not, one thing is certain. This was a smart move done by WB and CW. A lot of people are talking about it. And they want this kind of reaction. The reaction of people talking about it.
