The newspaper on the wall definitely seems to be referencing events in Kingdom Come. Brandon’s Superman is looking good here.
Agreed!
Same here.
You know I was thinking, some people are saying about the possibility of Brandon’s Superman not surviving the crossover. True there’s that possibility, however there is a way to fix that problem if that does happen with two words, prequel series! The picture behind Brandon’s Clark clearly references the events in Kingdom Come. So why not do a series on the Kingdom Come and Thy Kingdom Come story arcs? It would be great! They could split each story in half to extend it for a number of seasons. They could also lead up to the events of the upcoming crossover… Read more »
So Conroy is the Kingdom Come Batman. . I didn’t read that anywhere, but I may have missed it. Bottom line is it makes perfect sense.
I want a Kingdom Come Superman show! HBO make it happen!
I second that motion! Make it happen HBO!!!
Make it happen!!!
😀
Brandon looks fantastic, but I just don’t like Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman. He’s just not up to it (compared with Reeve, Routh and Cavill) and that costume of his has always been lame.
I wish they would give Tyler what Brandon has but with the classic shield
Tyler’s costume is bad, and he doesn’t have the best writing. But I think his acting is fine.
I think Tyler does well with the character but I agree that the suit old use some tweaking. Even just fixing the cape attachment by itself would be a substantial improvement.
I don’t understand why they choose those straps at all. Like how was that green lit? And then they gave it to supergirl as well who already had a pretty great costume. Brandon’s suit looks great and I see Superman. While I agree that Tyler is great in the role, it’s hard to get past that hideous suit. The only redeeming thing about is the emblem.
the costume designer for the arrowverse RRRRREALLY likes those buckles. It’s on Superman’s, Supergirl’s, and now Batwoman’s.
They don’t look good, at all. It really only works for Thor.
Yeah it only really works for Thor. I find that it confuses the eyes a little bit. There’s the Superman insignia where it should be, but then there’s two buckled straps that clash with the rest of the suit. I hope that they do redesign the suit when the new Superman series begins production. Tyler’s Superman is great though. I’m sure he’ll do great in his new series. I’m looking forward to it.
🙂
All’s I can say is that the cross over looks great in pics, and if its as good as it looks, I am glad the same people will be responsible for the Superman and Lois show.
There is no way that Tom Welling will actually wear the Superman suit, huh? 🙁
Anyway, I am looking forward to this and Brandon’s and Tyler’s Supermen look great!
Yeah, looks like he’ll only be wearing his FarmLad costume. *Maybe* they’re saving Tom being in suit for a surprise but I really, really doubt it.
I was thanking the same thing Matt. It would be amazing if he wore the suit and saved the day at the end, in a big surprise finale… but it’s just a dream.
Brandon looks fantastic as Superman again! Very classy look that he has going. I’m a big advocate for there being more of his Superman after this event. I encourage fans to support Routh’s Superman in this upcoming event, so that we may see more of his Superman after this upcoming crossover event. I believe that if WB, CW, HBO, SCI-FI, or whoever is in charge of movies or shows sees the positive response to Brandon’s Superman, maybe they will move forward with there being more of Routh’s Superman. So I’m recommending and hoping that fans support Brandon’s Superman. I believe… Read more »
You know, Tom’s Clark wouldn’t have to wear gloves… just saying 😉
In an homage to Superman III, he’s gonna go after Tyler and Brandon’s Supermen with that ax.
Can’t leave any fingerprints after all.
