Cinemoves Incorporated has shared a few more behind-the-scenes videos on how they shot some of the flying sequences in the new “Superman” movie.
“This is for our grip friends. We used our Powerslider a lot. Slide 2 and 4 you will see we had Henry Braham our DP riding the PS. Henry and James wanted the viewer to feel like they were right there with our characters. We used wide lenses for most of our flying scenes. Going hand held was the safer choice sometimes. We also combined rigs we built with @modtruss to allow compound moves. Sometimes the #artofcameramovement doesn’t make sense buts it’s still fun.”
