Mondo Unveils Exclusive “Superman” Posters for SDCC

Mondo has released two stunning exclusive posters for James Gunn’s new “Superman” film, both available as special San Diego Comic-Con editions.

The first poster comes from legendary comic artist Frank Quitely, known for his iconic work on “All-Star Superman”. His US$80 limited edition screenprint features Superman in a classic flying pose against a background reminiscent of his “All-Star Superman” cover. “This is Superman, soaring upwards, as a symbol to raise our hopes, raise our standards and raise our game,” Quitely explains.

The second poster is by Tom Whalen, a longtime Mondo collaborator who drew inspiration from the Superman films of his youth. His US$80 timed edition piece pays homage to multiple generations of the character. “I’m genuinely honored to be able to interpret this generation’s version of Superman in my style,” Whalen notes.

Both posters are 9-10 color screenprints on French Construction Pure White paper, with Whalen’s timed edition expected to ship in January 2026. The posters celebrate the new “Superman” film from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures, in theaters now.

These collectible pieces offer fans a chance to own artwork that bridges Superman’s comic book legacy with his latest cinematic incarnation.
