Naomi McDuffie has returned to her birth world. Her hands have become intangible. The Justice League has been separated. Those with superhuman abilities have powers that are going haywire. Aside from Aquaman most of the League regroups. However, they may have their work cut out for them. Brutus has defeated both Black Adam and Superman.

Ram V. and Xermanico collaborated on a Justice League Dark bonus story in this issue.

4Story – 4: This could have used more background on Naomi for those who haven’t read her series. In fact, a nice skeleton key in the inner covers like in “America vs. The Justice Society” would have been great. Still, this was a good comic in spite of its lack of reader friendliness. I’m just nitpicking a little. I’d still highly recommend this story arc to anyone.

5Art – 5: The art has continued to improve as the story progresses. David Marquez works perfectly on this title at this point in time.

4Cover Art – 4: The cover blurb ruins the image slightly, but aside from that, it’s beautifully drawn.

5Variant Cover Art – 5: Kael Ngu should do more covers and interior art in my opinion. Hopefully these variants will shine the spotlight more on this great artist.
