Savage and Faust attack the Supersons. The battle is fierce but when Savage grabs Rora the Supersons give up. It’s at this moment that the Justice League arrives to save the day. They promptly dispose of Savage and Faust before Superman and Batman take the Supersons home.

5Story – 5: The story wasn’t ground-breaking, it was just a fun little series. The bickering between Jon and Damian continues. And there is a great dichotomy between how Jon reacts to the Justice League’s arrival, and how Damian does. It’s also fun to see how quickly the League deals with the two villains. I liked that the Supersons are shown to be just kids when compared to the League. After having read this maxi-series, and Taylor’s work with the characters on “DCeased,” I would love to read series in the future about Jon as Superman and Damian as Batman. I can’t for the life of me understand why Future State didn’t have an issue with the two of them, hugely wasted opportunity. Thankfully we get a small glimpse into Jon and Damian’s future as they finish reading two kids their tales, providing one of the few hopeful futures for DC Comics.

5Art – 5: Max Raynor has delivered consistently great art throughout this miniseries. This concluding chapter is a great example of his art, plus he gets to flex his artistic muscle a little bit by drawing the Justice League coming to save the day.
