Mezco Unveils Upcoming Fleischer Superman Action Figures

Mezco Toys has unveiled our first look at their line of Superman 3.75 inch action figures inspired by the 1940s Fleischer animated shorts.

Based on designs created by artist Des Taylor, the 1:18 scale format action figures are currently on display at Mezco’s booth at San Diego Comic-Con.

The set includes Superman, Clark Kent, Lois Lane and Mechanical Monster #7 from the animated short titled “The Mechanical Monsters,” which was released on November 28, 1941. (Watch the episode below)

According to Des, there is also a playset which has yet to be unveiled.

No release date has been announced as of yet, but they are expected to be available mid-2020.

These look fantastic! The detail and the painting is stunning. I wonder what the price point for these will be. Mezco is a little expensive.
