Mariel Hemingway, best known to Superman fans as ‘Lacy Warfield’ from “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace,” will be appearing at the Williamsburg Nostalgia Convention.
The tall, striking granddaughter of celebrated writer Ernest Hemingway, this actress’ performance as Woody Allen’s high school-age girlfriend in “Manhattan” (1979) earned her an Oscar nomination. Hemingway made her feature debut with her older sister Margaux in the drama “Lipstick” (1976). But who can forget her role of Lacy Warfield in “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace” (1987), who took a trip into outer space in the hands of Christopher Reeve during his battle against Lex Luthor and The Nuclear Man.
