Margot Kidder Remembered at 2019 Academy Awards

The 91st Academy Awards took place on Monday, February 25 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and during the televised event the Academy paid tribute to the renowned actors, filmmakers and craftsmen who passed away over the past year.

The ‘In Memoriam’ Oscars slideshow was accompanied by music from “Superman: The Movie”, with a new arrangement of John Williams’ “Leaving Home” track played by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by Gustavo Dudamel.

Margot Kidder, who played Lois Lane in that movie, was one of the many memorialized during the segment, with a photo of the actress wearing a Superman shirt and a clip of her and Christopher Reeve.

A very touching tribute to Margot Kidder.

Superman: “Easy miss. I’ve got you.”
Lois:” You’ve got me? Who’s got you?”

We miss you Lois!

I just wish that they could have added the quote from when Superman catches her from falling.

I liked that they used the John Williams score during the tribute.

That was very touching. May her soul rests in peace. May all the souls of the great ones mentioned in this video also rest in peace.

Gone…but never forgotten!
