It’s not bad by any means, but it’s also kind of generic. If you had told me this was from any other superhero film I would believe it.

I feel like the titles of all those songs are like spoilers of the story.
So we know Superman only shows up at the end of the movie, and he is the Anti-hero

Eh. Maybe for a second. I still have doubts that’s what will happen. Antihero could be Deathstroke. Remember they did film footage with him.

I listened to it once, and will wait for the movie to hear it again. I feel I need visuals to make up my mind about it for now.

if you were waiting for the John Williams Superman theme cue like they teased a few weeks back, its on the Friends and Foes track. Link below. There is a hint of it at the begining and then from 0:20 mark.

looking at the list of songs and hearing the JW Superman theme in friends and foes, if the tracks are in order Superman would show up about a third into the movie… if the tracks are in order…

Ugh, I’ve been dreading that Superman won’t show until late in the movie and when we finally see him he’s a villain.

Very Danny Elfman by all means. There is a soundbite that reminded me of March Of The Dead theme from the Army Of Darkness film. Elfman scored this one piece of the movie and I wouldn’t wonder if that was a wink to his own work. Sounds great though. It gave me goose bumps once I heard the John Williams reference.

Ugh, so Danny Elfman, and not cool Danny Elfman from the Burton Batman films. Bring back Hanz and Junkie!

Kinda generic in my opinion. Danny isn’t the composer he used to be. I also don’t see the point in bringing back the Williams theme. It clashes against what Zimmer created and is a backward step.

It’s generic. BUT it’s probably for a generic scene. Like a suit up montage or whatever. This isn’t the main title so it’s ok. Hero theme music overall isn’t what it used to be.

Yeaaah, I’m not crazy about these either. It’s pretty standard Danny Elfman, very by-the-numbers for him. Of course, with every OST you always end up liking merely a handful of the tracks, so, who knows? Maybe the others will be more memorable?
