“Krypton” to Premiere March 21, 2018

Syfy has confirmed that the new “Krypton” TV Series will premiere on March 21, 2018.







The network has also released three new images, one showing Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El.















“Krypton” is set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet. The show follows Seg-El, Superman’s grandfather (played by Cameron Cuffe) – whose House of El was ostracized and shamed. He fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.



“Krypton” is produced by Warner Horizon Television. The pilot is written by David Goyer (Man of Steel) with Ian Goldberg (Once Upon A Time, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). Goyer also acts as executive produce through his company Phantom Four with Damian Kindler (Sleepy Hollow), who serves as showrunner. Colm McCarthy (Peaky Blinders) directed the pilot.



The cast includes: Cameron Cuffe (The Halcyon) as Seg-El, Georgina Campbell (After Hours) as Lyta Zod, Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones) as Val-El, Elliot Cowan (Da Vinci’s Demons) as Daron Vex, Ann Ogbomo (Wonder Woman) as Primus Alura Zod, Rasmus Hardiker (Your Highness) as Kem, Wallis Day (The Royals) as Nyssa Vex and Aaron Pierre (Britannia) as Dev-Em.
