Would be awfully neat if they released these character trailers/posters one by one leading up to Superman in the black revival suit revealed on the heals of the full trailer.

I know some people are hoping they hold back that reveal, but I certainly wouldn’t be opposed.

Nice. Would love to see what they do with Supes, but we shouldn’t see a single hint of an S curl until October at least…

Agreed. No actual reveal of Superman until the movie releases. I want his re-appearance to be grand and momentous, a feast for the eyes. WB, with respect to Superman, a tease or a hint is acceptable but don’t spoil anything with a full reveal in the meantime.

@Bibbo85 & According to what I’ve seen, they’re going alphabetical order…and after Flash and before Wonder Woman…it said…Superman…. 😀

Wonder Woman dropped today no Superman before that, and don’t forget about Cyborg, so it’s not alphabetical order.
I’m guessing Cyborg is next today, probably this afternoon.

Can’t wait till Saturday. Here’s hoping that they won’t reveal too much.

If you go to the website, there’s a page where it lists “pick a hero to begin”, and it lists 6 options.

Superman is coming…

I’m hoping Wonder Woman, Flash or Aquaman take center stage in this movie… At least until Superman’s eventual return. I’d love to see another hero other than batman stealing the show. Many seem to be pretty excited for Aquaman, myself included, but Flash looks cool from what I’ve seen and I’d love for WOnder Woman to take the lead of the team instead of The Bat. It makes more sense since Batman is always a fringe member anyway.

Well I think it’s going to be all about Batman. BvS was about Batman’s redemption and in the words of Snyder himself Justice League is about Batman finding the other heroes, pulling them together and forming the league. So from a story standpoint I think he will just like BvS. But in all honesty if Zack Snyder wanted to make a Batman film he should have just told WB, “Hey I don’t want to make a Superman movie, I just want to make a Batman movie, can I do that and someone else do Superman?” If he had of done… Read more »

well even if he is the focus of the film, I hope that by the end of it he retreats back to Gotham or takes more of a backseat as he usually does in comics or other media for future installments. There’s a good chance that may happen as Affleck is having personal issues and rumors continue to swirl that he is disinterested in playing Batman. The line in the comic con trailee ‘I’m only real when it’s useful’ kind of makes me hope they go that route. Time will tell. If he does take center stage, well then I… Read more »

Thanks for the compliment. I agree about Miller’s take on Batman and his hate for Superman. I never liked what he did with either character, especially after saying he definitely does hate Superman in an interview with DC All Access. It is time to move on from his version of Batman and I think they already have based on the Comic-Con trailer last yer. I also believe that Vaughn and Reeves will make a great change of the colors, so to speak, for the characters. Reeves threw the old script for The Batman out, which to me says he is… Read more »

For me, Ultimate Cut or otherwise, BVS was never really about Batman. To me, he was just a channel. A representation of the people’s reactions to Superman. IMHO, Superman is the focal point here. MOS goes without saying. BVS was his dealing with the first step towards Humanity and Humanity’s dealing with him. Even Suicide Squad wouldn’t exist if not for him. As Amanda Waller said, “The world changed when Superman flew across the sky. And it changed again when he didn’t. That’s why I’m here.” For JL, it’s said that his presence (and lack of presence) is a big… Read more »

I agree in that BvS was never a Batman movie. Batman’s arc is fairly clearly shoehorned into a movie that has little to do with him and then adjusted to include him. He only fits there because a lot of the ideas focused on in the film are interchangeable “big ideas” about mythological super-heroes in general. From a narrative standpoint, BvS was a Superman movie; it’d probably show as well, if half of Superman’s screen time wasn’t cut in the theatrical release. Having said that, I’m not entirely convinced Snyder will deliver the goods in regards to Superman in this… Read more »

No sign of Superman on this Friday night. And that is actually a good thing. When the trailer drops tomorrow, just reveal a hint of his presence, enough to keep all Superman fans in crazy suspense.

I actually wouldn’t mind if they showed nothing and just mentioned him both in this trailer and the next one. As for the last one, I believe we should only see a silhouette or a cape…

You can all rest easy if you didn’t want Superman in the trailer, there’s not even a mention of him.
