I think your reasoning might be a bit off with this one Scotty, Bruce’s assessment of Superman as a threat isn’t neccessarily about what Superman’s character is at that point in time but about who and what Superman could become down the line. Even if Bruce thinks Superman is evil in the here and now at the very least Superman is trying to maintain a good public image with all the rescues he is performing.
