July 22, 2016: “Justice League Action” Video Interviews from SDCC

Superman Homepage reporter Luis Jaime attended the roundtable interviews for “Justice League Action” at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, and recorded the following video interviews for us with Producers Butch Lukic and Alan Burnett, and Character Designer Shane Glines; and Diedrich Bader, who does the voice of Booster Gold.

Luis explains, “I had the honor of joining the round table discussions with the talent involved in creating the new JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION show. The footage that was shown at San Diego Comic-Con was amazing. These will be 11 minute episodes that are action packed and will not disappoint. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.”

Great interviews all around! Deidrich Bader was hilarious! His comments about the snyderverse films were pretty funny and spot on. Darn shame nobody asked the creative team about the costume redesigns/missing trunks on Superman & Batman though and why the characters couldn’t have them… Very excited to see Zod in a cartoon. Wonder how they’ll handle him. Sounds like we might be getting some Terrance Stamp influence, which is always great! Can’t wait to hear Jason’s Superman voice. To me, Tim Daly will always be the definitive Superman voice and is how I always imagine Superman sounding, but I’m curious… Read more »
