July 13, 2016: Snickers Ad Tricks Readers of “Action Comics #959”

If you were reading this week’s “Action Comics #959”, you might have been forgiven for wondering what was going on at one point in the book, when Batman suddenly arrives to help Superman confront Doomsday… by shoving a Snickers chocolate bar in the creature’s face… soothing the creature… who was really Wonder Woman! Wait, what?!

No, it wasn’t part of the story… although it seemed like it. It was just a well-placed (or interestingly-placed) advertisement by Snickers.
