A week ago the Superman Homepage website was relaunched to great success. In that time over 2,000 members have joined or rejoined the site, and the feedback to the new design has been overwhelmingly positive.
There have been a few minor issues, which I thought I’d cover here in case anyone reading this is also having any problems with the new site…
PROBLEM: I can’t log-in with my old username! It’s not recognizing my password!
SOLUTION: We weren’t able to bring across your password when migrating from our old system to this new system. Your username and other details were been imported. We just need you to reset your password. Please enter your Superman Homepage Username or your Email Address in the YOUR PROFILE form on the right side of this page, and then click the “Forgot your password?” link beneath the Login and Register buttons. Follow the steps as prompted to select a password, and you’ll soon be up and running with your updated Superman Homepage account.
PROBLEM: I can’t comment! When I try to comment I get an error saying “Some of field value is invalid”.
This error comes up for some members who had their account imported from the old site. If you didn’t have a first name/last name inserted into your old account, you need to update your current account details to include this information.
Beyond that, we hope you’re enjoying the new features and updated design of the website.

I like the new design (though I liked the old setup too), but I do miss the blue and the “quote” and picture upload features.
I’ve added those features in now.
