Warner Bros. has revealed that Joss Whedon will officially receive a writing credit for the “Justice League” movie.
Confirmation on this credit was received via today’s release of the Warner Bros. 2017 Fall Movie Preview, in which Whedon is listed as a writer on the “Justice League” screenplay alongside Chris Terrio.
As you’ll recall, Zack Snyder stepped down from the film after a family tragedy, appointing Whedon to take over the final stages of the project’s post-production phase. Whether Whedon will receive any other type of credit for his work on the film is unknown at this point in time.
Here is the full list of credits released today:

I like Zach Snyder, but he does tend to go a little too dark; snapping necks, shooting Jimmy Olsen in the head, etc… So if Joss tempers things and brings a lighter tone, so much the better. I think Justice League will be great. Rogue One and World War Z went through similar transitions and both turned out to be good movies. And of course, look at Wonder Woman, which gives Zach Snyder a shared writer’s credit.
