Jonathan and Martha Kent Return in “Superman: Villains #1”

During the New 52 era of Superman comic books Clark Kent’s parents were revealed to have died in a car accident when Clark was in high school… But now they’re back!

Through the events of the 12-issue “Doomsday Clock” series, continuity changes gave us an indication that Ma and Pa Kent had not died in a car crash, and were in fact alive and well in Superman’s life… but we have yet to see that reflected in either “Action Comics” or “Superman” titles. Until now…

Courtesy of CBR.com, preview pages from the upcoming “Superman: Villains” one-shot shows us Superman visiting his adoptive parents at their farm in Smallville.

So glad they’re back. So frustrating that it has to be under Bendis and this awful idea.

The Kent’s should not have to see what Bendis did to their son.
