With yesterday’s announcement that DC Studios is pushing forward with another Superman movie in 2027 titled “Man of Tomorrow”, director James Gunn has taken to his Threads social media account to answer some fans questions.
When asked, “How much of Man of Tomorrow have you completed writing?” Gunn responded by saying, “All of it.” Going on to explain that he’s now in the phase of improving the finished script.
“Just in the necessary and lengthy stage or rewriting and rewriting some more. It’s been a lot of fun. Trying to get some done now before Peacemaker airs because we like to watch it as soon as it comes on.”
When asked is the film would be known as “Superman: Man of Tomorrow” or just “Man of Tomorrow”, Gunn clarified that the word “Superman” would not be added to the title. “Just Man of Tomorrow“.
“Man of Tomorrow” is scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 9, 2027.
Superman wont be in the title im assuming because man of tomorrow will have some kind of dual meaning
