Since James Gunn announced that he’s writing the script for a new Superman movie that will not star Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, the internet has been awash with speculation and rumor regarding who will be chosen to don the red cape.
In response to one such rumor on Twitter, James Gunn has responded saying, “No one has been cast as Superman yet. Casting, as is almost always the case with me, will happen after the script is finished or close to finished, and it isn’t. We’ll announce a few things in not too long, but the casting of Superman won’t be one of them.”
