The Man of Steel is coming to a city near you this summer.
Director James Gunn has officially announced the Superman World Tour, a globe-spanning promotional campaign that will bring the cast and crew of his highly anticipated Superman film to major cities worldwide ahead of the movie’s July 11, 2025 theatrical release.

The promotional world tour kicks off June 19 in Manila, before flying through Rio de Janeiro, London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, and Beijing. The ambitious schedule spans three weeks, building excitement for what will be the first film of the DCU’s Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
In a special video message shared across the film’s official social media accounts, the cast delivered an inspiring message to fans: “Citizens of Metropolis. And the world. Superman is coming to a city near you. He’s back. But don’t worry, you’re not in danger. We’re coming to cities all over the world for the Superman Global Tour. Just look up. And we will see you soon.”
David Corenswet stars as Superman/Clark Kent, with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Gunn himself expressed his enthusiasm on social media, writing: “So happy to be visiting so many of you during the Summer of Superman!”
The world tour represents a significant marketing push for Warner Bros.’ reboot of the Superman franchise under Gunn’s creative direction. With stops across four continents, the tour aims to generate global buzz and reconnect international audiences with the iconic superhero.
“Superman” will be in theaters and IMAX nationwide on July 11, 2025, and internationally beginning 9 July 2025, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
