There’s another Superman reference in a new promo for “Powerless”, the workplace comedy set at one of the worst insurance companies in America… which exists within the DC Universe.
Emily Locke, the Director of Research and Development at Wayne Security (played by Vanessa Hudgens) watches on as a scientist shows off his newest invention… Kryptonite glass for office building windows.
“Powerless” premieres in the USA on Thursday, February 2, at 8:30pm ET/PT on NBC.
I hope I can watch it. It’ll have to be in a “non standard” way as I live in Spain and it won’t arrive until September/October officially (if it ever arrives here).
But for what I’ve seen it looks quite promising. I’ll have to do like with the Rebirth comics. Read them online and get them when they arrive here. Reading them online is nice when you use a 32″ screen but nothing equals the smell of fresh ink when I enter the comics store.
This show will be the biggest bomb for NBC since 1979’s Supertrain. Go on YouTube and you’ll see what I mean. This Powerless is…AWFUL! It’s as if NBC was drugged kicking and screaming into the superhero genre.
