Eddie's Answers

Ryan (Pilgrim731@yahoo.com) asks:
I'm sure that you cannot speak too freely about what's to come in the DCU post-Infinite Crisis, but could you comment at all on the possibility of whether or not DC might consider doing something special next Fall to commemorate the 10th anniversary (in real time) of Lois and Clark's marriage as was done with the decade anniversary of Superman's death with the "Day of Doom" miniseries?

Eddie: Hold on to that question a couple of months and ask new Editor Matt Idelson. He'll have a better idea on that.

Christian R. Jacobsen (manomight1974@yahoo.com) asks:
Eddie, I was just wondering about a recent discrepancy that I noticed in Infinite Crisis #2. When Power Girl touches the Earth-2 Lois Lane Kent, and she is flooded with all of her lost Earth-2 memories, one of the images that we see is her and the Earth-2 Superman at the arctic fortress with the giant key. As I recall from my Pre-Crisis reading, didn't the Earth-2 Superman have his headquarters in the mountain range outside Metropolis and wasn't it known as the "Secret Citadel"?

Eddie: That is the mountain fortress. Like our Superman, Kal-L also had some additions done.

Tony (tignot@yahoo.com) asks:
Does DC have a writer and artist lined up yet for the "Superman Returns" movie comic adaptation yet?

Eddie: Yes.

XtremeC (shadowcheats@hotmail.com) asks:
Does Clark Kent (not Superman) have any cousins, nieces, or nephews from his mother or father's side?

Eddie: They'd be very removed cousins if they do exist. Both Martha and Jonathan did not have a very large extended family that we have ever seen.

Ever Figueroa (ever.figueroa@sbcglobal.net) asks:
Will Superboy get is own comic again?

Eddie: But he's such the star of TEEN TITANS, and so much so with issues #32 and #33 of that series, plus the Annual on sale this February.

Ryan (spatualdude42@yahoo.com) asks:
From what I have been reading, Clark and Lois's relationship has been slightly on the rocks lately (maybe that's just me), but what are they chances that they would get a divorce or at least a seperation?

Eddie: Check the books again. While their's been some uncertainty in Superman's life, Lois has been right there for her Man of Steel.

Ian Mason (imfreakity@msn.com) asks:
Thanks for the time, sir. I have been a Superman fan since the mid 70's, but really liked the Byrne, Post-Crisis version of the character. With "Birthright", Return of Supergirl, and "All-Star Superman" coming out almost all of the silver age elements have been added back to Superman and a lot of those fans are pretty happy, but is there anything coming out any time soon for fans who preferred the Byrne Superman to the Silver Age or Waid versions?

Eddie: There is ACTION COMICS that John pencils - but aside from the basics of the origins there's nothing happening that could not be in either a Byrne or any other version of Superman happening right now.

Al Gorup (gorup@houston.rr.com) asks:
Who would be stronger: the newly re-emerged Superman of Earth-2 or current day Superman?

Eddie: Keep checking out INFINITE CRISIS and the Superman books for answers to this one.

John Buckley (slamo@optonline.net) asks:
What would happen if Superman used his heat vision with his eyes closed? Would it bounce and burn his eyes, would it just go back and forth or would it go through his eyelids?

Eddie: As long as his eyes are shut no heat vision will escape as has been shown when his powers have gone wildly out of control.

Ryan (RyLong1982@aol.com) asks:
What are the main differences between Earth-2 Superman and the regular Superman of current continuity?

Eddie: There's a lot, check out the Superman books in February for those answers too. And real quick. Kal-L is older than Kal-El, and he wasn't initially as strong as Earth-1's.

Thanks! All the best for the holiday season and the new year!

Eddie: A healthy holiday season for you and yours!
