Soooooo is this the part of the game when Superman finally becomes the hero he used to be? I surely hope so.

The trailer sure makes it seem that way. He will at least save the world one last time. But i dont think there will be any forgiveness from the hero community that isnt part of the Regime. I actually like the anti-hero superman of the Injustice Earth. Im hoping at the end of the game, he takes the S off his chest and tells bruce “I’m never going back to jail, and dont call me Superman anymore, call me… Ultraman” LoL. There is a vacancy for Ultraman in the multiverse after all.

Of all the adjectives that come to mind about Injustice Superman, “anti-hero” isn’t one of them. That’s more of someone like Wolverine, Deadpool and what they are making Deathstroke in the comics. Someone who is doing good, but doesn’t hold up traditional hero values. Like not killing the bad guys while committing acts of heroism. An anti-hero would do violence to save the day, they are still heroic. Injustice Superman was just committing acts of violence to start and maintain his brutal dictatorship with the Regime. Overthrowing governments, taking away people’s rights, ordering the death of those that don’t follow… Read more »

Injustice is that very unfortunate, fortunate case of a product they never expected to get as popular as it did and as such is sadly broken and unfixable at its very core. I’ve been reading the comic books (early into Year 2 now) and it’s obvious they were working from the perspective of “alternate universe, free to take as many liberties as we want”. There was strong material in Year One to get Superman to a “red son” status, but he ended up acting out like a child, which is as un-Superman as it gets. No son of Jonathan and… Read more »

This look and epic style of Brainiac is exactly what we need for a live-action Superman movie. I want to see Brainiac like this in a MAN OF STEEL sequel.

Too bad Brainiac is not in any sequel…yet. But if WB is watching this site closely…and I’m almost certain they are…we can only hope that they will listen and do something about it. Brainiac so far is a silver screen virgin not yet used nor explored thoroughly…except in Animation and Smallville.
