Various sources are reporting that Christopher Dennis, best known as the fan who dressed up as Superman on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, has passed away, aged 52.
For over 25 years, the Los Angeles based Christopher Reeve lookalike turned heads on Hollywood Boulevard as a Superman impersonator, even starring in a documentary titled ““Confessions of a Superhero”” in 2007.
Back in 2007 the Superman Homepage conducted an interview with Christopher Dennis, which included an extensive photo gallery of over 100 images.
The cause of death is unknown at this point in time. Our condolences to his family and friends.
What sad news this is. Even though he never played Superman on the big or small screen, he was still a Superman. Rest In Peace Christopher Dennis.
