Gut-health soft drink brand Hip Pop has announced a co-branded collaboration with DC Studios’ upcoming film Supergirl, set to hit theatres this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. The partnership brings two limited-edition cans designed to help fans “unleash their power within” ahead of the film’s June 2026 release.
The headline product is Yellow Sun Lemonade, a new flavour made with real lemon juice, no added sugar or sweeteners, and high in fibre. Joining it is a co-branded version of Hip Pop’s best-selling Berries and Cherries flavour. Both cans carry Supergirl branding and are available now at drinkhippop.com and TikTok Shop, priced at £20 for a pack of 12.
The launch taps into a rapidly growing corner of the drinks market. Functional beverages currently make up just 1% of UK soft drink sales but account for 10% of total category growth, according to Nielsen data. Hip Pop, which doubled its growth for the third consecutive year in 2025, is positioning itself firmly at the centre of that trend.
Unlike conventional sodas, Hip Pop’s range is low-calorie, made with real fruit, and formulated to support gut health — a proposition that resonates with a growing number of consumers looking to cut back on sugar without giving up their fizzy drink fix.
With spring underway and summer approaching, the timing of the Supergirl tie-in feels deliberate. Whether you’re a comic book fan or just after a guilt-free can in the sunshine, Hip Pop is clearly betting there’s an audience for both.
