High Ratings for “Superman & Lois” Despite Uncertain Future

Superman & Lois

While The CW has yet to announce what is happening with “Superman & Lois” moving forward, the series’ ratings continue to grow.

With only two episodes remaining in the show’s third season, the latest TV ratings show viewership for “Superman & Lois” (666K/0.1) rise up to its best audience since April 4, which was also the third-largest score of the season.

Last month The Hollywood Reporter claimed that “Superman & Lois” could be on the move if The CW doesn’t decide to pick up the series for a fourth season, with HBO Max possibly throwing the Man of Steel a lifeline. With The CW looking to keep at least one DC show on the network, if it does choose “Superman & Lois,” next season would likely be shorter than the customary 13 episodes, with new owners Nexstar looking to make the business profitable.

This show needs to survive and continue for a 4th season. It’s done so well that they can’t end it after what I hear will be a cliffhanger ending for season 3.

I hope this show can survive. Hands down the best representation of Superman in live action we’ve had since Reeve. They deserve to go out on some kind of note where they can end things on a high and in a way they would want to end it.

“hands down”?? I guess for some if your into the continuing “Lois” angle. I find the “domestic” approach to this character something that should have been moved on from years ago.

This is really a no brainer for The CW. It’s one of their most successful if not the most successful show they have going for them. If they cancel the series, it will look really bad for them. I can see them losing so many viewers for their network if they don’t green light a 4th season.
