Her Universe Fashion Show Goes All-DC for 2026 San Diego Comic-Con

The Her Universe Fashion Show is returning to San Diego Comic-Con this summer with a bold new twist: for the first time in the event’s history, every competing design will be exclusively inspired by DC characters and stories.

Presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the show is set for July 23 at 6:00pm PT in the Harbor Ballroom of the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. Actress and Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein will host.

“It’s time for geek couture to take new heights,” Eckstein said in a statement. “There are few franchises as popular as DC and it’s a privilege to be inspired by this vast world.”

Between 20 and 25 finalists will be selected to showcase original, high-fashion designs — not costumes or cosplay — drawn from a wide range of DC properties. Eligible inspirations span classic comics characters like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, films ranging from Tim Burton’s 1989 “Batman” to last year’s “Superman”, and beloved animated and television series including “Harley Quinn”, “Teen Titans”, and “Sandman”.

Designers can submit entries through the portal at heruniverse.com between March 27 and April 26. Finalists will be notified around May 8. At the end of the show, two winners — chosen by both audience vote and an expert panel of judges — will each receive a $2,000 cash prize and may be offered the opportunity to design a collection with Her Universe.

Last year’s show was themed around Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation properties. The all-DC focus marks a significant shift toward a single franchise, underscoring the deepening partnership between Her Universe and Warner Bros. Discovery.
