I say let him! I don’t understand why the execs, writers and directors keep stifling him and Superman in general. Let his natural charisma ooze into the character. There is so much untapped potential there. We’ve already gotten the stoic and silent Superman and it’s not for me… not because I don’t like a serious superman (I do and I actually prefer serious takes on him) but because they gave him absolutely nothing to say. I agree Redcape that they need to confirm a sequel sooner rather than later. They seem to be more concerned with other random characters though: Black Adam, Shazam, Nightwing, Deathstroke, Sirens, TWO joker movies, SS2 and WW2. I don’t get why we haven’t got any sort of sequel, announcement or any news on it. As someone mentioned in another thread, the execs fail to read the market correctly. I have no doubt that JL will make some serious money, but I fear that with all the lukewarm responses that they won’t cross that coveted billion dollar mark that they keep… Read more »

Call it a hunch… But i think a sequel will be announced sooner rather than later. There will be so many converts to Superman after JL… Just my opinion though.
