I would agree with most of what you stated. But I think that he shouldn’t guest star in other movies. THEY guest star in his! But his character is in the news and that’s…..GREAT !!!   But the whole problem now and not just with Superman, is how are the studios are going to make their money back. With the theaters closed, will streaming produce the profits they need? I don’t see any billion dollar take(s) from streaming. While there is talk of opening theaters at a reduce capacity, how many movie goers are going to want to sit with… Read more »

Absolutely agree he should not be guest starring. I hope the movie going experience goes back to normal also, but I think it’s very touch and go at the moment and who knows how long there will be delays with actual filming. I wish they put a Superman solo film into production years ago because were already approaching 10 years when they started production of MOS.

Has WB released any official statement regarding Henry’s return?

No as of now. I’m against this unless it leads tom his own solo movie. But the entire industry is at a stand still with this virus business.

He won’t have to work out again to play Superman. He already has to stay in shape for the witcher netflix series.

Also Superman shouldn’t be making cameos in other hero movies b/c he is apart of the holy trinity of DC. I wish DC would have more respect for its oldest hero. SMH!

I think it’s interesting that people are using the Hulk analogy for Superman cameoing/guesting in various movies. I actually thought it might be more like Iron Man being in Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man Homecoming. Iron Man was almost a co-lead in Civil War and was a mentor figure in Homecoming. He was also the father of the MCU much like Superman kicked off the DCEU.

I could see Superman have supporting roles that are more than just glorified cameos outside of having his own movie.

But iron man already had 3 solo films before that point.

I can see this being for the Flashpoint movie where they reset the continuity and set things up to be a little less rushed than they have – Snyders “trilogy” should have been at least 8 movies because there has been literally no time to care about any of these characters, except Superman but they wasted that by killing him in his 2nd movie.

I think a major issue here is how exactly can a movie, story line wise be made using Henry. He’s attached to Snyder’s world. So in moving forward one can assume all the people and elements that were previously there aren’t going to be. So the entire structure would change except Henry. Unless the story line has him in an environment that has nothing to do with previous familiar surroundings, then we’re going to see him with a totally new cast.

I was thinking. Is it possible that Henry might return to the role of Superman in a supportive role for another character, and would he really want to be a supportive character? This question probably had already been asked but I just thought I’d ask anyway.
