Comic Book Central caught up with actor Harry Lennix to discuss his role as General Swanwick in “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”.

Lennix talks about those films, screen testing with Henry Cavill, voicing Black Manta, and what he thinks of Zack Snyder’s reveal his character was going to be Martian Manhunter in “Justice League”!

I really do like Harry Lennix. I think he’s got more acting chops waiting to be unleashed and earn him a few awards along the way. I can imagine the scenes in JL when he turns into the Martian Manhunter in my head. Man that would have been the cameo to end all cameos hehehe.

I’ve heard of the rumors and I don’t know. In MOS, there was no hint at all that General Swanwick was J’onn because he was way too hostile. If anything, I believe J’onn would have been impersonating the general in the Justice League movie.
