The Doomsday series has been done and done. Enough already with that. Quite frankly, the last story(s) that I want to see is more of Superman getting killed or beaten to a pulp. I for one am sick of that. I realize that that was the end result with BvS but that’s the last time I EVER want to see that. I’m sure they’ll make it as right as they can in JL even if it doesn’t run parallel with the comics. Ever since the Death of Superman story in the comics there are at least some fans who have wanted it adapted into the movies. The problem is that it’s nearly impossible to do it in the movies the way the comics did it. In the comics Superman is established not just in the world but he is established with the audience/reader of the comics. His death is/was significant because he had time to build up as a character over decades.
