Monnaie de Paris has launched a comprehensive DC Comics commemorative coin series with an impressive array of Superman-themed pieces leading the collection. The series includes multiple Superman coins, ranging from affordable 10-euro silver pieces to premium gold collectibles.
Superman features prominently across several denominations: individual character coins priced at €15 each, including “Superman” and “Superman The Man of Steel” editions, plus dual-character pieces at €13 featuring “Superman and Lex Luthor.” All 10-euro silver coins are minted in 333‰ silver, measure 31mm in diameter, weigh 13 grams, and are limited to 75,000 copies each.
For serious collectors, the collection offers premium options including a 50-euro “Superman” silver coin (€62) in higher-grade 900‰ silver, and top-tier gold pieces themed around Superman’s core values: a 250-euro “Justice” coin and a 500-euro “Honor” coin, both in pure 999‰ gold.
