Our first look at the upcoming new animated movie adaptation of the “Death of Superman” comic book story has come via a preview image featured on the iTunes Extras page for the animated movie “Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay”.
While Warner Bros. has yet to announce the cast or synopsis of the film, we do know that the upcoming 2-part animated movie will be a more faithful adaptation of the comic book story than the previous “Superman: Doomsday”.
No release date has been announced yet.
Here’s how I’m feeling: When this was announced, I was excited. Because I’m a Superman fan, but also because having a properly told adaptation of the Death/Return of Superman, one of the most selling comic books/graphic novels of all time, is such great news to hear.
