Receiving 43% of the votes, the most popular era for Superman fans is 1986-1999. Why? In the comic books, this is when the John Byrne era of comic books began. Throw in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” and “Superman: The Animated Series” on TV, and you’ve got a very popular time in the memories of many a fan.

Could someone please explain to me why the generally accepted date ranges of the Silver and Bronze Ages are split and/or oddly mismashed together?
And I’m a Bronze Age (ca. 1970-85) fan. Curt Swan is the greatest Superman artist ever!!
