In the latest Superman Homepage Member Poll we asked you the following question:
Which is your favorite Superman era?
Receiving 43% of the votes, the most popular era for Superman fans is 1986-1999. Why? In the comic books, this is when the John Byrne era of comic books began. Throw in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” and “Superman: The Animated Series” on TV, and you’ve got a very popular time in the memories of many a fan.

So a lot of Death of Superman, Lois and Clark and Animated Series fans?
Could someone please explain to me why the generally accepted date ranges of the Silver and Bronze Ages are split and/or oddly mismashed together?
And I’m a Bronze Age (ca. 1970-85) fan. Curt Swan is the greatest Superman artist ever!!
Because there isn’t a definitive delineation for when one ended and the next began.
Nice to see the Bronze Age get some love
STAS made this era awesome. Good memories.
