While Dan Jurgens won the favorite comic book writer poll from last week, he was a very close second in this poll, with Alex Ross just beating him out by seven votes. Curt Swan was also right up there in third place.

I voted for Gary Frank, but I like Alex’s work as well.
I voted for José Luis García-López (praise be his name). Surprised he didn’t receive more votes.
I’m surprised at that to Steve. Though I guess for a lot of younger folks they’d only know his art through merchandise and haven’t actually seen his work in a comicbook. Garcia-Lopez’s work on DC Comics Presents was one of the first visions of Superman that I ever saw as a kid. In a way his art defines the look of Bronze Age Superman more to me than even Curt Swan does. Honestly I didn’t vote because I just couldn’t decide between Garcia-Lopez, Byrne, and Jurgens.
