I can see why Superman the animated series won 1st place on the voting ballot. And justice league/ justice league unlimited in second place is respectable. In third place the Ruby Spears superman animated show is not bad either.
I like STAS but I don’t like how it ended (at least in terms of it being an ending to the entire series as opposed to it being a season ender) and in some ways it contributes to problems I have with his portrayal in JL and JLU. In order to compensate for having him constantly owned so the others could shine in the early seasons, they switched to giving him a hair trigger temper as a result of the ordeal with Darkseid. I voted for Rubey Spears superman. I also have a soft spot for it. In a way it was an alternate version of the Reeve Superman. And yes, Reeve’s Superman in my opinion is the best.
