Eagle-eyed Superman fans were quick to notice a fun Easter egg in the new film “One Battle After Another”, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro.
In one scene set inside a small shop, a framed Japanese poster for “Superman: The Movie” (1978) featuring Christopher Reeve can be seen on the wall. The nostalgic nod to the Man of Steel delighted viewers, especially longtime Superman fans who recognized the rare Japanese artwork instantly.
“One Battle After Another” is currently screening in theaters.
