Yeah its unfortunate that politics is a part of Supergirl’s show. I wish that we could just watch Supergirl (or Superman whenever they bring him on) without there being a political statement attached to the show.

Yes, they are doing a disservice to fans. I don’t want to see politics on an adventure series, I read these stories as a kid to find an escape from reality. I want to have fun watching these shows not adhere to someone’s political view, a view I do not share.

Going to sound mean and off putting to some, if not most. But I hope that this series isn’t renewed next season, and that Supergirl dies in the Crisis crossover.
Let her die a heroic death like the comics. And let the other characters in the Berlanti-Verse shows remember her for the hero she was.
Sometimes heroes die. And Supergirl contributed the most and was remembered for her sacrifice.

They’re not going to do that to Supergirl because she had her show renewed for another season. The crisis event will take place in the fall and It wouldn’t make sense for the writers to kill her off half way through the season. The Green Arrow also made a deal with the Monitor to spare her life. This deal was most likely a life for a life kinda deal and it will probably be revealed in the crossover. Supergirl’s show is also the youngest out of the Supergirl, Flash, Arrow lineup. So I doubt that they get rid of her… Read more »

We’re talking about the network that has kept Supernatural on for 15 years. They aren’t not cancelling this anytime soon, it’s free money at this point for WB and there’s 80 years worth of stories and materials for the writers to steal and port over to this show.

Exactly. With amount of viewers Supergirl has, it wouldn’t make any sense to cancel it. It has a lot of people watching it every week. So unless they start having a decline of viewers, or decide to conclude the series story line( which I doubt since it’s still relatively young for a superhero show), they’re not going to be ending this series any time in the near future. Plus Supergirl is the CW’s superhero flagship. They aren’t going to give up on it so soon.
