Filmmaker and Superman fan Chris Notarile has created a short film titled “Superman: End of an Era”.
After decades of trying to defeat his nemesis, a dying Lex Luthor finally discovers Superman’s best kept secret, and unleashes a sinister plan to bring the last son of Krypton to his knees. But can Luthor’s masterstroke truly break the man of steel?
Definitely a nice change of pace from another damn Injustice type scenario. Interesting seeing Luthor just so broken by his jealousy of Superman and inherent cynicism that he can’t even wrap his brain around why his plan doesn’t work.
I also like the idea of Batman viewing Superman as family and actually being willing to acknowledge that out loud.
I don’t get the point of these.
Pretty simple really. They’re fan productions. Filmed fanfics.
A very good one. And this Superman/Clark reminded me sooo much Kingdom Come. Specially Superman. He looked incredibly like Alex Ross’ Superman.
I don’t want to be overly critical of these, because they’re passion projects and I’m definitely not filming anything, so I’ll just say that the guy has a really good Superman face.
That is all.
Well two things…….The CR suit STILL looks pretty good. AND…the Keaton Bat suit looked good as well!!
A small issue. Why would he be showing age like this? To have that look one would assume that he’d be many years into the future. He probably would have out lived several Lois’s and there wouldn’t be any Batman as well.
True. Though Lex does look a decent bit older, and I just figured Batman would be making use of Lazarus Pits. 🙂
