Henry was mistreated by Warner Bros. and I wouldn’t blame him if he never wanted to work with WB again.
You are absolutely right. Warner Brothers completely mistreated and disrespected Henry Cavill. It was terrible. Cavill is a champion for staying so calm and mild mannered about the whole thing. He is truly a class act.
If mistreatment is giving someone millions of dollars, status as an A-list star, the lead in a franchise for ten years, and the adoration of legions of people who will defend them uncritically, I would like to be the very first to volunteer for such mistreatment.

I mean, I get that you’re upset that Cavill is no longer Superman, which is a legitimate feeling, but you HAVE to realize how ridiculous it sounds when you portray him as a victim.
I mean, you DO, right?
This was one of the worst decisions a major studio has ever made. It’s also one of the worst forms of disrespect and mistreatment of an actor by a studio. This was said about Brandon Routh. It was said when they cancelled Smallville. It was said when they cast Tyler. It was said when they killed Superman. If there’s one thing about a Superman fan that’s universal, it’s that any change that happens, to some of them, will be the absolute end of the world and the worst thing ever.
