Whether you’re rocking the classic red-and-blue cape, the brooding black suit, or any multiverse variant of the Man of Steel, Cleveland wants you — and it wants you in costume.
FAN EXPO Cleveland is hosting a Superman Cosplay Meetup on Saturday, March 14, gathering heroes of every era at the Siegel & Shuster Superman Plaza, right outside the Huntington Convention Center. The call is simple: show up, strike a pose, and celebrate the city that started it all.
There’s real history in this plaza. Cleveland is where teenagers Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster first dreamed up the Man of Steel while attending Glenville High School. Their creation debuted in “Action Comics #1” in 1938 — and in doing so, launched the entire superhero genre. Meeting here isn’t just cosplay; it’s a pilgrimage.
All versions of Superman are welcome. Classic, Elseworlds, animated, cinematic — if there’s a cape or an “S” shield involved, you belong. Attendees are encouraged to share photos and tag @cleconventions, @fanexpocleveland, and @siegelandshustersociety to spread the super-powered love.
Event details: Saturday, March 14 – 3:15 PM – Siegel & Shuster Superman Plaza, Huntington Convention Center, Cleveland.
