Even More Media Interviews from “Superman” Press Junket in Los Angeles

This past weekend the “Superman” movie paused on its World Tour for a Press Junket in the USA that saw James Gunn and the cast of the new movie discuss the film, reveal new footage, and answer media interviews.

Brandon Davis:
Hot Toys sent the prototype of its new Superman sixth scale figure for Brandon Davis to reveal for the first time with DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn and stars of the film David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult. Corenswet sees himself as a Hot Toys figure for the first time and shares his thoughts on the figure and what it means to him by defining what he sees in it. This is the exclusive first look at Superman’s Hot Toys figure, thanks to Hot Toys and Sideshow for working to put this exclusive reveal together!

In an interview with Collider’s Perri Nemiroff, Bennett, Gisondo, Hoover, and Pierce discuss how modern journalism influenced their classic Superman characters. They also share production design Easter eggs, hinting that their desk decorations may reveal insights into their characters’ personalities.

CBR Presents:
While speaking about Superman with CBR’s Sean O’Connell, Gunn commented on where things currently stand with the DCU’s Batman. Gunn was presented with a photo of Batman’s classic blue and gray suit from the comics and asked if there was a chance the DCU version might finally present this costume in live-action. The filmmaker confirmed that they’re still not sure what the costume will look like, pointing out how they hadn’t even made a final decision on Superman’s red trunks until the very last minute.
