According to Deadline.com, Erik Valdez (Graceland) has been cast in the series regular role of Lana Lang’s husband, Kyle Cushing, for the upcoming “Superman and Lois” TV series.
Kyle is a fire station chief who has basically become a hero in his own right to the town of Smallville. Described as being “an alcoholic who has seen a lot of darkness in humanity,” Kyle has “some problematic attitude issues that affect those around him”.
The role of Lana Lang will be played by Emmanuelle Chriqui. Beyond the roles of Superman/Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), we also know that Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin have been cast in the roles of Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s twin sons, Jonathan and Jordan Kent, while Dylan Walsh has been cast as General Sam Lane.
Produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, “Superman & Lois” is being written and executive produced by Todd Helbing, former showrunner of “The Flash”. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns will also executive produce the series.
