According to Deadline.com, Emmanuelle Chriqui (The Passage) has been cast in the series regular role of Lana Lang for the upcoming “Superman and Lois” TV series.
Lana is a loan officer at a bank who is married and has two daughters, a 16-year-old and an 8-year-old. Lana’s life takes a turn when she reconnects with her high school boyfriend Clark Kent, which in turn is another straining factor in her marriage.
Beyond the roles of Superman/Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), we also know that Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin have been cast in the roles of Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s twin sons, Jonathan and Jordan Kent, while Dylan Walsh has been cast as General Sam Lane.
Produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, “Superman & Lois” is being written and executive produced by Todd Helbing, former showrunner of “The Flash”. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns will also executive produce the series.
This news of another cast member added to the Superman and Lois show is good news to read about. I’m not familiar with this actress, but I look forward to see her take on the character Lana Lang. Good luck Emmanuelle!
