Elliot S! Maggin Announces “Superman: Miracle Monday” Reissue

Author Elliot S! Maggin has announced via his Twitter account that a reissued edition of his 1981 novel “Superman: Miracle Monday” will be available in print, ebook and audio versions from May 15.

Published by Caveat Corner Books, “Superman: Miracle Monday”, which was originally published to coincide with the release of “Superman II” in 1981, tells the story of Superman as he tries to stop an entity of pure evil from causing universal chaos. This was Maggin’s second Superman novel, the first being “Superman: Last Son of Krypton” (published in 1978).

We’ll let you know when and where you’ll be able to purchase the reissued version of “Superman: Miracle Monday” early next month.

Considering how bignore of a fan I am of Maggin’s Superman run, I definitely want to support this, although knowing that Ken Penderyn is involved reminds me that I’m still sore at the Archie Comics Sonic The Hedgehog title losing its long history due to the lawsuit between Penders and Archie

This is awesome news! No amount of Archie Comics internal company drama can hurt (or even slightly impact) the fact that MIRACLE FREAKING MONDAY is coming back to bookshelves. This is one of the top five Superman stories ever written in my opinion!
