Elizabeth Tulloch Talks Lois on “Crisis on Infinite Earths”

TheMarySue.com caught up with Elizabeth “Bitsie” Tulloch to chat to her about her role as Lois Lane on both the upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover as well as the “Superman and Lois” TV series.

As for the fact that Lois and her Superman (played by Tyler Hoechlin) will be meeting other Supermen from across the Multiverse, Tulloch says Tom Welling was really funny. “I had never met him before and I was just dying laughing.”

As for Routh and Lois meeting that version of Superman/Clark, it sounds like the scene will have some humor. “That will be a very cute scene I think,” Tulloch shared. “Part of what makes Lois lane such a charming character is when she gets flustered and discombobulated, and meeting a new superman would lead to that result.” But there’s another reporter who doesn’t work at the Daily Planet who fans have been dying to see Lois meet.

“When I was shooting Elseworlds last year I notice a lot of comments from fans on Social media, saying they were disappointed Iris and Lois didn’t get to team up,” Tulloch said and we definitely agree that we’ve been hoping to see these amazing women together since Lois was cast. “I think they’re going to be really happy this time around, we actually had quite a bit to do together. I loved working with Candice,” Tulloch added. “They end up sort of teaming up to help this crisis in their own way. And they absolutely do even though, for example, they can’t fly or run really fast.”

Looking further ahead, while Tulloch can’t say much about the “Superman and Lois” TV series at this early point in time, she did say, “We’re really excited though. Tyler and I are so excited. We’ve met with the show runner…the story is awesome.” Tulloch added that the pitch was so good “I literally got chills.”

I think she’s done an ok job so far. I so hope that we get to see her version of Lois meet Routh’s Superman.

And speaking of Routh’s Superman,WB please find a way to continue Routh’s version of Superman after this event. He looks great as Superman again. And believe me, others feel the same way as I do about this. Make the fans happy WB, CW. Please find a way to continue Routh’s Superman after this crossover event.

That suit looks way better on him then the Superman returns one did. I’d love to see his version of Superman continue. I don’t even need it to be connected to the reeve films. I wish he had received a better script with SR. I am so tired of wordless Superman, especially when the actors playing them have charm.

Exactly sundevil82! 😀
It doesn’t necessarily have to be connected to the Donner film. As long as he can continue in the role, I would be a happy Superman fan! And I know others would be too. 😀

Do you see WB, CW? I’m not the only one who wants Routh’s Superman to continue. There are others as well who want more of Brandon’s Superman. Please don’t let us down and find a way to make it happen WB,CW.
